Everyone relax. They have to at least persue it. The 109 pilots passed the resolution and the reps are required to represent them. If the results of the survey showed the group as a whole isn't interested it will die on the vine but they have to at least take these steps for the 109 captains.

You have to remember that you are dealing with a group of guys trained to pick up lots of open time because it was 150%. They then created lifestyles around that and when 150% wheat away they had to pick up even more open time. Also the out of base captains that life in FLL have commuting at stake so they stalk open time and are very very quick to grab anything that comes open so even the FLL captains that want to make simple swaps cannot because there is nothing left to trade with. This also creates more red days on the other bases so because guys that live in FLL are dropping their lines to pick up in FLL. This makes it harder for the guys that actually live in those other bases to drop or make swaps that move days later in the month.

I'm for out of base trading but just letting you know why this resolution existed. And all of those on here saying they oppose it must not be fll based because I saw none of you at the meeting where this thing got passed by an overwhelming margin.

Also I don't think the 109 reps actually support the resolution because one is a long distance driver that probably doesn't pick up much open time and the other is actually a captain in another base and probably doing exactly what this resolution is trying to limit. However, they are required to represent the pilots of 109 and that's what they are doing. It may only be a small portion of 109 that actually favors this thing but they were the only ones that cared enough to show up. Where were the rest of you?
