Again I don't support the resolution at all but in fairness it's not aimed at stopping out of base pickups it's seeking to limit it by giving in base pilots first crack. I know some other airlines don't award open time first come first serve but have multiple "close outs" during the day and award based on seniority and by domicile. We could go to something like open time awards every 4 hrs and still be first come first based on the time of the request but by only awarding it to an out of base pilot if no in base pilots requested it in the 4 hour period. If a few did it would go to the first in base guy that made the request to honor first come first serve
Well. I for 1 hope it that it's fate is swift. Also I wish that CH and the rest of the little piggies that picked up OT well above and beyond guarantee with fellow aviators on furlough, are severely affected by its the non passage. Maybe then they can feel a little pain like we did on furlough. She's a liar and a cheat. She picks up out of base all the time.
