Many PSA pilots are aware that the MEC Negotiating Committee met in Dayton this week to discuss improving the current Special Selection Process (SSP). With the current reality of staffing significant growth, discussions impacting required increased attrition were difficult.

Considering the needs of all parties involved, the committee has reached an agreement in principle with PSA and AAG. We are finalizing bullet points of the agreed items and preparing for MEC presentation at the upcoming Special MEC Meeting on June 1, 2015. Final language will not be ready in time for the MEC meeting. Prior to releasing details to the pilot group, the MEC will have an opportunity to review the proposed agreement and vote to recommend or reject it.
