The fact that the MAX doesn't even have the GTF is surprising, which in my opinion is the primary reason for embracing the new generation of planes. The 321NEOLR offers MORE range than the 757-200 does now, and although it eats some cargo space, many times our 757-200's can't complete the Europe USA missions anyway. Boeing doesn't have an answer to this plane, which would fit our narrowbody TATL flying better than anything out there. I'm not at all sure we won't buy some in the future. I'm on the Guppy now. It's fine, but the sales numbers for the 9MAX vs the 321NEO tell the story of which is a "better" plane.
In the end, just pay me right and I'll fly whatever we buy.
Boeing Max wins in the most important category.....$$$$$ saved per passenger/ hour. In case you arm chair executive wannabes haven't heard. We are in this to make money.
