The gate agents in MSY were saying they've buying people off every week (10-30 people per flight) for the last 3 months and it's been every day lately (MSY-DEN) because of the cool, wet weather there. She was throwing out numbers like $1000.00 to 1300.00 pay out to those DB's.
Funny one of those gate agents in MSY told me during last contract round we were canceling flights due to pilots misusing sick leave. Keep ur faith with them I suppose.
