I'm finding out that other Dash operators are running theirs without APU's in them...at PDT we have APU's and I can't imagine flying all the time without it. Commutair and Mesa are going to have a hot summer
Surprisingly enough, it's not that bad. I don't give the signal to disconnect the ground air until we have completed the before start checklist, and normally they plug it in pretty quickly after we shut down #2. Still gets a little warm every now and then though.
