Exactly. My favorite argument for one airplane vs. another....." it's more comfortable cockpit"....or some other pilot favored aspect. This is business. I'm all for the airplane if it makes the company money.....(and MANY airlines seem to think it does)....the 737 is the right fit. You want comforts, sit at home.
I have to laugh at the guys who bid to fly it..........then complain about it. You have to be a real pilot to appreciate the 737. Weak pilots are not comfortable with "nuances" of the airplane. I see them squirm when they have to approach a short runway at 160 kts.
