Nostalgia. No other reason. I had a blast flying turboprops and even the dc9 which is the last of the true hands flying jets. But neither has any bearing on my career. In a tighter labor market I would say do the type of flying that most closely resembles what the majors fly. But like flow, at least for the foreseeable future, it won't matter.
