Namely, those pilots in international categories. Think about it. By being below the minimum, there was less flying in those categories to bid. It didn't affect the NB fleets. Also, since it was from April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2015, I'll bet there is a sliding scale as to how much each transoceanic pilot was affected. I doubt a pilot not even on the seniority list during that time will get anything.
Yeah, we'll see about the distribution. I was only here at the tail end on the mad dog and won't be too surprised or feel affronted if I don't get anything. But to be clear, every erosion of widebody scope does affect every single person on property as well as those not here yet. As an example, on the last AE NYC 330B went only 9 numbers senior to me; I very well may have held it if the company was in JV compliance, making another slot in MSP 88B available to someone junior to me, and another newhire slot available to a separating military pilot or some poor sap still slugging it out at the regionals.
