Personally, I don't. The company obviously knows this. And it backstops their BATNA strategy. Keep in mind they can twiddle their thumbs and costs for them stay flat. If anything it encourages investment when it looks like capacity dumping may be on the horizon.
The way the law is structured the NMB would probably release us at some point. It would require that we be in what they call the zone of reasonableness and it would be a 3 to 5 year process once admitted into mediation.
The current track is likely to be far more lucrative for the Delta pilots. I want the solution that provides the most income and best quality of life. I don't need to thump my chest.
