They can't legally; although they may try to give you some grief. You are protected by USERRA laws and need only mention that if needed.
You might want to think about completing your OE before going back to the military for any significant period of time. There are a few time limits (as well as your own comfort and proficiency) that you don't want to trifle with while on probation. Just an opinion, welcome aboard.

There's now a form on CCS, couldn't be easier.
