Do you guys get any pushback from the company for submitting military leave in order to maintain your currency and/or proficiency?
I am starting class on 09JUN and plan on turning in military leave after sim training to get current again and was just wondering what the process is and if there’s any difficulty in doing it. Thanks.
You'll have IOE after sim training, I don't advise dropping mil leave in the middle of it. You then need to complete 100 hours within I believe 90 days to get consolidated. You don't want to miss that wicket.
You'll then be on probation until you've completed 165 work days, and 12 bid periods. Extended mil leave will push that back. Not a big deal there, just be aware.
