How do you guys know how many numbers you moved up? Did you actually know what number you were last year? Personally, I pay no attention to that stuff, as it doesn't play into anything of significance. Guys are still retiring and other guys are leaving due to medical issues. As well, a few continue to get themselves fired each year. And a lot of guys reaching age 60 are electing to take a FE seat, with the hopes of their being able to get back to their window seat if the rule/law changes. With all these things going on, could someone please explain to me why it's important to know your seniority number. The one thing that I think is important, is knowing where you are on your aircraft seat list. That's the thing that effects my working life at FedEx, not my overall seniority number.
