Aren't those 30 minute turns driven by the schedule that Delta makes for us? I'm sure for a 717 they will need to schedule longer than 30 minutes for a turn. Maybe 35 minutes :-)
Anyways; it's not the 30 min turn that's impossible (difficult yes, impossible no) it's the flow delays, gate delays, weather delays etc that will get them.
