If it was indeed the Hogan that disqualified you, looks like it did the job for which it is intended - who wants someone like that on their team? I know plenty of military who have passed through the process with no problem at all, and others who did not (and moved on, getting picked up by Delta, American, or Southwest).
Don't be so upset about it. Pick yourself up and move on. You will without a doubt be picked up by one of the majors soon - I wish you the best of luck.
I didn't intend to come off as negative, or insinuate United has it out for Military guys, so apologies. I've only heard of ten or so military guys who didn't get past that step and know nothing of how others are fairing. I assume it's probably the same ratio, but I don't know. Personally, I think it's worth a little investigating to see if there's some correlation or trend that may help others get to the interview step.
