Which is ecactly why most of the relatively few slots over the next year will go to present F/O's. Remember, Envoy is slated to
SHRINK and that means displacements from smaller E-145's that displaced F/O's can bid. Envoy cannot remain its present size if they ate only upgrading half of the pilots projected to flow.

After they upgrade, more senior F/O's will get it on a freebie displacement. Sure, a few slots may go to new hires, but with only 100 F/O's or less out of a 2000 pilot shrinking airline running dusplacements along with projected upgrades, we're talking a handful of new-hires.
