If I have it right, the FAA requires 25 hours of OE but Delta's policy is 35 (with schedulers scheduling roughly 40). How about we just require the FAA mandate, and schedule no more than 30? Naturally, we leave LCA bidding as is.

The problem was caused by stopping hiring and then waiting too long to resume. With the resultant understaffing leading to triple-pay green slip city, it's an error that could be costing them $10-15M/year. They could do that for 350 years and not equal the $5.5B stock buyback. Heck, they could cover that for 20 years with their fuel hedge losses.
