As a newcomer here, I'm not sure what the limits are for a single post, but I'll try to cut and paste for your viewing pleasure. If it does not show up in the next window, you'll know I failed. But track it down on the ALPA website or attached to the Fastread eamil that was sent out today. It's worth a read, and should instill amazement and apprehension in everyone.
MD's opening remarks were pretty much "LOOK AT THE MONEY! HEY MONEY MONEY MONEY!! Oh, and here's the negotiating committee with the details of all the rest."
Everyone I talked to (reps, committee, and so on) walking out of the opening presentation all had the same sentiment of "....and then?? how bout them details?"
