You are correct. Let's say pilot 1 wants trip A. Trip A does not get awarded because it is with a LCA. Pilot 1 now has to get trip B. Pilot 2 wanted trip B and would have received it under the old contract but must now settle for trip C. It continues down the line so it affects all pilots in a category.

It's going to mean less lines, because 75% of the LCA trips won't be awarded as F/O lines, which means the guys who are just above the reserve point are going back onto reserve, which will lead to more pilots being on reserve, which means FEWER Green Slips for all the F/O's.
So, this kills 3 birds with one stone! (did Chuck Norris throw it?)
Less Manning, Less Pay, and Less 'good trips' gone for all but the top 25% F/O's!
