A couple thoughts…..
You always get MORE the next time if you vote "No".
Negative ghostrider. Ask the AA pilots who rejected a fairly lucrative TA prior to 9/11. They never got close to the rates we enjoyed for several years. Granted no one could foresee 9/11, but just voting no "because" is stupid. If I were mgmt and "knew" the pilots would vote no regardless, I wouldn't offer more than minimum wage. Why should I, "knowing" that the pilots would by default vote no.
Vote no (as I will) because the agreement sucks, not just "because."
Management is still chipping away at scope. They want 25 more LARGE RJ's and JV relaxation. After the next downturn, all ties connecting RJ's to mainline aircraft numbers will DISAPPEAR!
You don't have to give up scope to get 100 seaters. Actually….you will get MORE 100 seaters if you don't allow any more 76 seaters!
I don't know the truth here as your statements are broad enough to mean anything you want them to mean. I'm not happy about the JV stuff I can promise you.
I can't believe anyone would accept a concessionary contract in these times.
Hard to disagree.
Management is in a hurry to change profit sharing before you guys figure out how much money you will lose when profits soar.
"You guys?" Are you even a DAL pilot? If not why don't you remain in lurker mode and let us discuss this between ourselves?
