This is how you dismantle Delta Air lines. What's the next shoe? Codeshare with emirates, etihad, or Qatar? If this passes, expect to be even more of a domestic airline.
I think we can all agree that DALPA scope language and agreements have not been what they were promised to be the last few years. They certainly sound good during the sales presentation. Then when we get down the road and start hearing pinging noises and the wheels fall off we realize it was another bad deal with no recourse. Same story for C2015, although this may be the most damaging voluntary agreement (not under BK) we've seen put in a TA.

The pieces of this puzzle are scattered all over the place, just the way they like it. The JV scope violation got settled for pennies on the dollar (no mention of bringing the numbers back into compliance?). Now a cockamamie proposal to allow the violation to continue unabated without penalty and lower our percentage. Where are all the details of the scope violation settlement btw? Did it or did it not say they would bring the ratios back into compliance?? I didn't think so.

If you haven't noticed the eagerness management has to create more equity purchase agreements with foreign airlines and create more JV's such as Virgin Atlantic, you aren't paying attention. Ed was just saying yesterday or the day before how glad he is to be talking with Korean air and half a dozen other foreign operators. Even if we lose just a little bit (but probably a lot) on each of these deals, the total ends up significantly reducing widebody flying (the holy grail because of the higher pay) for Delta pilots.

I understand some equitable form of international code share is necessary (ie cannot access some markets without it) but let's please stop the madness leading to Delta pilots flying 737's across the pond while a dozen other airlines do the heavy lifting with A380's, 777-300, 777X, etc. Vote no on TA2015!
