I won't re-post here as we do have a DPA thread but the organizational structure (bylaws) used by DPA have many more check valves to keeping things bottom up and pilot-centric without all the nonsense clearly displayed at DALPA.

As a side note, DALPA has blown a ton of money attempting to discredit and shut down DPA. I imagine those dues dollars could have been spent better.
