The SJS doesn't have the same draw as it did in the past. Other regionals have shinier jets along with other fringe benefits. Things like maybe a livable wage and some semblance of control over ones schedule. Amazing at it sounds, regional FO's sorta have to eat and pay rent and things like that.
You would think a new and better contract would be ratified immediately in order to attract more pilots and keep the operation viable. If not for the pilots, then at least for the stakeholders who even Bedford himself has to keep happy. It doesn't make any sense.
