I just got off the phone (regarding the medical stuff) with the SEA CA Rep who is also on the Government Affairs Committee. He said one additional reason to not pass this sick leave change is because the wording is counter to the arguments the GAC is using to fight the FAA's proposed changes to their fit to fly process after the German Wings incident.
