I currently have a Single Engine Private Inst license. When I add my Multi-Engine license, do I do 2 separate checkrides, (one for the ME add on & one for the ME Inst)? Or is it one check ride that gives me both ratings?

I'm a little confused on this issue, all replies and suggestions greatly appreciated!
