Consolidation of the WO's is likely. The tactic of whipsawing will soon come to an end as regionals consolidate and some dissolve. That strategy requires a healthy supply of pilots and once that stability is truly lost (not quite there yet, but almost), it becomes a moot strategy. Besides, let's face it.......with the exception of several hundred Envoy lifers, no reguonal can really sacrifice much more as the pilot compensation dishrag has been pretty much wrung out.
