Make a few copies of this. Pass it along.

DALPA has their talking points. If you oppose this, you should have your talking points ready, too. Become an APC P2P.
Ask how they are voting. If they say yes, offer them this information. Make it easy. Offer to email it to them. Suggest that they may want to consider another point of view. Don't press to hard. That just causes some personality types to dig in. Just offer the information.
If you are talking to a senior captain, talk about JV, scope, a loss of profit sharing in this environment. The raise isn't what it seems to be given inflation or the rates of 2004. Give them a copy. Ask them to read it.
If you are talking to a junior captain, repeat the points above and point out the cascade of LCA FO bidders that are senior to them that will slide over to their seat. Give them a copy. Point out that because of the JV, they will most likely never see a WB CA seat.
If you are talking to an FO, the list is too long.
The point is to identify what is important to the individual and get them thinking. More important is to find the 20% of undecided. Provide them with counter information. Make it easy for them.
When Ryan writes part II, it should be a doozy. Plan on passing that one along, too.
Attend the Roadshows, provide hard questions. Bullies need to be confronted. DALPA and DAL are the bullies.
Feel free to over achieve.
