bender.....if you have been informed of some historical record of the delta pilot group that for the last 30 years that has been something other than compliant, cooperative, and accommodating to the needs and desires of delta management..........I am sorry to be the one to let you know that you have been misinformed.

30 years ago....we wouldn't even be having this discussion...because there was no memrat...the mec simply went into a room with the company, came out with the agreement....and said "here it is guys...hope you like it".
