It's a bigger issue than one person on management. This is an issue with a growing company not spending enough to support that growth. You can't expect to run 144 airplanes at a cost and infrastructure built for 45. It's the same issue with the "budget" the company is willing to spend on our contract. It is a fixed dollar and doesn't account for our growth. Last year our pilot cost was X. This year with 300 more pilots the cost cannot still = X.
Yes, I agree, but how many times does this have to happen before Bendo finally gets it? They have acknowledge before that they need to hire more dispatchers and schedulers. Yesterday there was 3 on during most of the meltdown.
What I see on a daily basis is flt attendants that don't care, contracted gate agents that don't care and are telling customers anything they like and now an upper management (Bendo)that is breeding a not caring attitude that is now being reflected by all the employees he has gone cheap on.
Question is, how many times can we do this to customers? This place is an embarrassment.
