This is how it was explained at the roadshow: The 5.74% calculation is essentially what we would receive if the company made 6b today. We lose the 20% above 2.5b (will now be 10% PS up to 6b), but receive the 6% raise on JAN1, 2016. That is our monetized 20% portion of PS, paid on day 1 as part of our normal pay. If the company makes less than 6b, we actually come out ahead because of the 6% raise. If the company makes more than 6b, that portion above 6b will pay out at 20% PS. That's why the chart only goes to 6b.
THIS IS MY UNDERSTANDING of how it was explained. I HAVE NOT personally worked the math myself.
