The only difference I see is that the aircraft that xjt does operate for UAL were all from before Skywest bought xjt. But theoretically, UAL can have xjt operate those 10 aircraft if both parties can agree on terms.
Maybe with UA buying these 10 aircraft, Inc. gets the rate they want for XJT to fly them and UA gets the shorter length term. You see, I'm actually pulling for you guys to get your foot in the door. Not always chugging that Kool-Aid.
But anyways, just because UA bought them, doesn't automatically mean these are destined for Mesa. They could be going to TSA or Compass just as easily.
