Maybe with UA buying these 10 aircraft, Inc. gets the rate they want for XJT to fly them and UA gets the shorter length term. You see, I'm actually pulling for you guys to get your foot in the door. Not always chugging that Kool-Aid.
But anyways, just because UA bought them, doesn't automatically mean these are destined for Mesa. They could be going to TSA or Compass just as easily.
Adding a new type to a fleet is really expensive. I foresee these 10 aircraft going to an operator that already has E175s (Mesa, Skywest, Republic/Shuttle but they can't staff it, Compass)
