Wait a few more days after the latest bid comes out and you'll get a pretty good idea. Last award went to late December 2014 hires. I'd say at least 50% of the people hired from January on don't have the 121 time to upgrade (pure speculation). This latest award is 32 people. It could very well go down to March 2015 new hires or lower.
According to the "what if" feature, guys in mid-January classes were not being awarded a CA spot.
So either:
A. Senior FO's who are not qualified are bidding CA anyways even though the company has asked repeatedly that they not do that. But as evidenced by the suspension of the F.C., people can not seem to do what they are asked to do (or in these cases NOT do)
B. Enough senior FO's have reached the min quals and bid CA, or waited until they saw the MSP vacancies and bid this time around.
So, let's see what happens.
