I am absolutely amazed that the FAA hasn't stepped in and done something about the MX issues. With that size of fleet, there shouldn't be nearly this many turn backs, gate returns and cancellations.

Props to the pilot group for keeping the passengers safe even if they have no idea what they are getting themselves into.

I wonder if before the valujet incident there was a run up in returns and failures. I pray this is not a replay of that situation.
