During his tenure in alpa and as mec chair....i had many issues with JMs perceptions, priorities, and judgement.

Most notably when at an open mec meeting in 2005ish when he proclaimed to the crowd "....and THAT is why Capt Woerth is our national chair.....because HE has the answers to the hard questions......"

An endorsement that came immediately after DW answered my question with the absurd historical narrative that...."....up until a couple of years ago.....no one had ever heard of airline bankruptcies and pension failures......"

This from pilot that started with branniff.....a bankrupt airline with a failed pension plan.

But JM never gave me a reason to question his commitment to getting the best contract possible (from his perspective) for the pilot group.
