After coming from the corporate world where I was used to cruising in the mid 40s and 450-470 was not completely uncommon, it amazes me how skiddish some airline guys are about the mid to high 30s. Also, it amazes me how many bad habits I see like letting the speed drop way off to maintain climb rate, and pilots that seem ok with the fact that they cant get speed up and the nose down in cruise and fly along with a positive deck angle like it's a 172 in slow flight instead of just asking atc to go down 1-2k tolet the speed build.
