When we were back at the old old Buffalo hotel we were in the van with two Delta pilots (yes they let us ride with them) The Captain looked at us and said you know Delta is hiring, I said so are we can I help you with your application? I am sure in his mind he was doing a nice thing but it didn't come out that way. To each their own and as you said people have reasons for doing what they do.(nothing wrong with Delta guys it was just funny and like I said I am sure he was trying to help)
