This happened at AE a few years back. It lead to a major overhaul of the CRJ training curriculum to
emphasize high altitude flight in the CRJ. The CRJ-700 is NOT a forgiving jet up high. It needs to be watched. Keep the speed up, and all is fine. Get slow (less than .74), and you're asking for BIG trouble.
