I want to see a list of all the names on the Strategic Planning Committee, and the NC. ALL of those guys, MD and the YES voting LEC guys need to go back to flying the line for a few years, see how the other half lives.
That kind of brings up a question. How come one serves as a Rep or what have you and then goes from committee to committee afterwards for years.
Why not fly the line? What is wrong with flying the line month in and month out for years? Why bother to apply to this airline if you don't want to freaking fly? Goes for the seagulls as well.
I mean I get a stint here or there, training department, CPO, ALPA, what have you because that's incredibly invaluable to being a good line pilot and mentor, but to do it perpetually to the point when one thing ends you find another off line job asap?
