"In my experience," as a graduate of mother Rucker then USAF transfer myself, it kills me to say the helicopter time doesn't count for hours, but it does supplement the overall experience and mil pilot block check. From what I've seen at a few conferences, they don't discount the experience as they look at the entire "package." Part 121 time is probably the best thing you can do to distinguish yourself at this point so keep grinding it out, attend any and all conferences, and pad that logbook!
