Yes. They'll grow the profitable side of DCI at our expense.
And I know you're going to bring up the reduction in 50 seat jets and say DCI shrunk, win, but put it this way- the 88 is openly being talked about as needing to be replaced. Old engines. Maintenance. You know.
If I said if you let me reduce the 88 fleet by 70% then I'll let you increase the size of the 767-300ER fleet by 350%, would you call that growth or a reduction?
Mind you, the difference between an 88 and a 763 is the same as the CR9 to the CR2.

The replacement jets at mainline is a wash of an argument because they can do that now if they want to. In fact they are with the 757 down to the 737-900. Nothing in our current or proposed contract prevents them from downsizing if they decide to. What the ratios do is force them to keep it on our list.
See above + ratios were designed for status quo on the mainline fleet while DCI got rid of the unwanted jets and unwanted capacity they needed and unnecessary drag on the operation. They did it gleefully and said so in the investor call ins. Once you listened to those you could plainly see that the company never debated between keeping CR2s or acquiring 717s. Just us.
