Our negotiating committee is there to try and keep 100% of us happy!
If we as a group vote down what was agreed to between the comany and our negotiating committee does not mean the negotiating committee was out of touch, it only means that the company under estimated what we would accept!
If the TA fails it means the company failed not our negotiating committee.
My Negotiating Committee Speaks for ME is still valid. A failed TA means the company wasn't listening!
Great comments all! With the possible exception of:
"Our negotiating committee is there to try and keep 100% of us happy!", because only a negotiating committee that was truly deranged would have as a goal, to keep 100% of its group happy. A total impossibility, and they know it. I believe their goal is to get the best TA that they can, that will then induce a majority of pilots to vote YES.
