Of course you are not paid during that time but the money you make while you are on will be enough to make up for it. Even with 2 months of no pay at all, you will still make +/- 100K a year depending on which company and how your rotation schedule is.

If you are interested the company "Avenge" is hiring right now. They are a good company. The main beef people have with them is there is a TBA that they will aggressively enforce.
