Each person is allowed to place certain values on certain aspects of a certain job. Some people ONLY want dollar sign - which ever allows the most to be put on the W2. Some want commutability. Some want time off. Others have a mixture of all the above. Travel is indeed one of them for me and a major consideration. My wife and I travel - a LOT. Yet it is just the two of us. Our life style allows us to travel. Be it a short stay in Europe, a weekend in Japan, to diving the great barrier reef in Australia. Non-rev tends to be a love or hate type thing. People either love it, or they hate it. But it needs to be accepted that there are those opinions. Me, I love traveling not for work. Non revving allows me to do that.
As it is said... haters gona hate.
