Having taught some of these students, their training was indeed interrupted many times. Some was progression and a total change in their syllabus; the other was political after ISIS reared its ugly head.

Hoping for the best....they were good guys, and I flew with Shia, Sunni, and Kurd...they all got along, and it made me think Iraq had a chance of seeing through sectarian differences.
