Not one crew member was getting paid at the time. If they want us to be responsible for Pax, then pay us. How can you be held responsible when you weren't on the clock? The only people who should be held responsible are the gate agents and ramp.
They are. They deemed it was safe to deplane. If it wasn't then they wouldn't be outside marshaling them in. They take responsibility once the passenger leaves the plane.
