I think you guys are missing my point. Of course i care about my passengers, but this brings up a really important issue. We are hourly employees that only get paid for push back to pull in. Management is always trying to screw us out of money. How is it possible that we can spend 80 hours a week away from our homes and only get paid for a 20 hour trip? And don't tell me its because we get a large hourly rate to compensate. (Regionals have f/o's making 24k/year).
My point was that if management holds us responsible for every minute we are on the aircraft then we should get paid for it. If you think that you don't deserve to get paid at work then that is great. If we aren't getting paid then we shouldn't be at work.

We need to value ourselves and our professional...but first let us take concessions...
