So if we do not "remove an impediment to retirement" we are discouraging people from retiring?
Good attempt at getting that mindset established as the norm! Inaction is not the same as an action! The precedent set by DW & BC "fixed their retirement" at the expense of the greater memberships should be rejected by all good union pilots.
I think many are for improving the retirement package as long as
we all have the SAME retirement benefits!
This disunity among the pilots over the 25K has grown from the seed planted by DW & BC! While he touted not having a different retirement plan for new hires, he created an even worse problem by alienating those well established union pilots who were not 53 on 1 January 2007!
