What else could we use as signs other than just being able to spot them out?

I've also been taught not to set my luggage on the floor or on the bed. Only use the luggage racks. That is excellent advice. Also, when you get home, don't put your luggage on YOUR bed. If you managed to transport bed bugs back, you don't want them on your bed!
