How about this. Why don't we take the time to ANSWER THE ACTUAL QUESTION, and compile a list of the minimums for each company. Then we can sticky this thread (or better yet, HSLD can add the info to each airline's page) rather than go round and round and round... </rant>
I don't have access to any current info right now, but here's what I have in mind as a "sample entry":
Atlantic Coast Airlines
In order to be eligible for upgrade to Captain:
Must be eligible to acquire ATP per FARs (or hold ATP certificate)
Must have current ATP written completed (or hold ATP certificate)
Current first class medical
Must not have reached 60th birthday
Minimum Experience Requirements (per the FOM, waivable by the ACA Director of Operations or his appointee):
Turbojet Aircraft: 2500TT + 1000ME, or 2000TT + 1500ME, or 2000TT and 1 year as an active pilot with ACA (no LOAs).
Turboprop Aircraft: 2000TT + 1000ME, or 1700TT +1500ME.
